Talia earned a bachelor's degree in psychology and a Master of Social Work from Arizona State University. She has 5 years of experience in behavioral health, working in various settings and with diverse populations. As a social worker, Talia acknowledges that problems often arise from broken systems. To this end, Talia is committed to providing trauma-informed counseling rooted in curiosity, cultural humility, and anti-oppressive practices. She uses an integrative approach, drawing from evidence-based models including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT).
