Steve Schmidt is a Licensed Associate Counselor (LAC) who works with individuals, couples, and families. He specializes in trauma and PTSD, sexual abuse, and relationship counseling, and also supports clients with anxiety, depression, grief, substance use, and religious trauma.
Using a trauma-informed approach that incorporates CBT, motivational interviewing, and narrative therapy, Steve creates a calm, supportive space where clients feel safe to be heard and gently challenged.
He is passionate about helping clients heal, grow, and find purpose—especially those navigating trauma, life transitions, and some of life’s most difficult moments.
