Shay Wills, LAC
Shay is a Licensed Associate Counselor (LAC) holding a Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Grand Canyon University. He possesses experience in assisting individuals coping with a spectrum of psychological challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, relational difficulties, grief/loss, and navigating life transitions. His professional journey has afforded him the opportunity to engage with diverse demographics, including Hispanic, African American, as well as gay and lesbian communities.
Operating within a framework of various therapeutic modalities, Shay employs Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing, client-centered therapy, and trauma-informed care. His approach is characterized by a compassionate commitment to tailoring treatment to meet each client's unique needs, fostering a non-judgmental environment that seeks to empower clients by leveraging their inherent strengths and resources.
