Rachel Abel, LCSW

Licensed Therapist

Rachel Abel is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) who works with adolescents and adults experiencing life transitions, anxiety, depression, adjustment challenges, relationship concerns, parenting stress, low self-esteem, anger, substance use issues, and the unique needs of veterans, active-duty service members, and their families. She also enjoys supporting older adults and individuals navigating peri-menopause and post-menopause.

Rachel takes an eclectic approach to therapy, meeting clients where they are and tailoring treatment to their individual needs. Her work integrates mindfulness, narrative therapy, Jungian concepts, family systems, trauma-informed care, Gestalt techniques, art and movement, CBT, aspects of IFS and ACT, and sandtray therapy when appropriate.

Clients can expect a safe space to identify, process, and move through difficult emotions. Rachel brings warmth, authenticity, humor, and compassion to her work, while helping clients recognize their strengths and build on them to create meaningful change.
