Faviola Augustin, LCSW

Licensed Therapist

Faviola Augustin is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) who specializes in trauma and PTSD, anxiety, and racial identity, with additional focus on generational trauma, emotional regulation, relationships, and life transitions. She works with a diverse range of clients, including BIPOC individuals, children and teens, LGBTQIA+ communities, women and femmes, first-generation and Spanish-speaking immigrants, and professionals.

Her approach is trauma-informed, person-centered, and integrative, drawing from somatic, experiential, CBT, mindfulness-based, humanistic, and liberation psychology frameworks. Faviola creates a warm, validating, and emotionally supportive space while remaining flexible—blending reflective, process-oriented work with more directive, goal-focused support when helpful.

Faviola’s path to becoming a therapist is rooted in her own healing journey and lived experience receiving care during difficult times. This perspective fuels her passion for walking alongside clients as they navigate healing, growth, and transformation.

She supports clients through trauma, depression, anxiety, family and relationship challenges, identity and cultural concerns, postpartum experiences, and life stressors. Faviola is deeply committed to meeting clients where they are, helping them build somatic awareness, grounding skills, and a stronger sense of safety and connection.

Clients can expect a grounded, present therapist who brings compassion, cultural understanding, and even humor into the room when appropriate. Faviola believes therapy is a collaborative process where clients have a voice and choice, and where being seen and supported can lead to meaningful healing and change.
