Brittany Griebling, LCSW
Brittany is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP). She received her BA in Gender Studies from the University of California, San Diego and her Masters in Social Work from Temple University. She also has a Ph.D. in Communication from the University of Pennsylvania and taught in Temple University’s Intellectual Heritage Program before pursing a career as a therapist.
Brittany’s primary interests are familial and relational issues, life transitions, mood and personality disorders, self-worth, and trauma and post-traumatic growth and thriving. She enjoys helping clients discover practical ways to increase their wellbeing and achieve their goals. Her approach is strengths-based, hopeful, and respectful of the client. She believes in having a friendly, non-judgmental curiosity towards the challenges and joys of being human. Brittany is most strongly informed by person-centered and psychodynamic therapeutic approaches. She has a background in substance use disorder (SUD) assessment and treatment across a range of severity, working with clients with these challenges, as well as their loved ones. Brittany is LGBTQ+ and poly/kink affirming. She strives for cultural humility and awareness of racial trauma and other justice issues that have both individual and social dimensions.
