Amarachi Ojukwu, MSN, PMHNP-BC
Amarachi Ojukwu helps children, teens, and adults find balance, stability, and relief from complex mental health symptoms through thoughtful psychiatric care for patients across Arizona. Practicing at LifeStance Health, she provides comprehensive medication management that is collaborative, culturally responsive, and grounded in evidence-based practice. Amarachi treats adolescents and teens as well as adults, tailoring care to each stage of life and partnering closely with patients to support both emotional and functional well-being. As a psychiatric nurse practitioner, Amarachi specializes in the treatment of ADHD, anxiety, and depression, while also addressing mood disorders, trauma-related concerns, and co-occurring conditions. She brings a careful, person-centered approach to psychiatric medication management, integrating clinical insight with close monitoring to optimize outcomes and minimize side effects. Her work is informed by Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and she offers additional therapeutic approaches when clinically appropriate.
Amarachi has experience supporting individuals from diverse backgrounds and life circumstances, including members of the LGBTQ+ community, first responders, and individuals on the autism spectrum, among others. She understands that mental health symptoms often intersect with medical conditions, family stressors, and social pressures, and she strives to create a safe, respectful space where patients feel heard and empowered in their treatment decisions.
Outside of clinical work, Amarachi enjoys teaching and counseling, expanding her professional expertise, watching movies, singing, dancing, and traveling to new destinations. She also offers care in Yoruba for patients who prefer services in that language.
