Alicia Thompson, LMSW
Alicia Thompson is a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) who works with adults navigating grief, trauma, relationship challenges, life transitions, caregiving responsibilities, career crossroads, anxiety, depression, burnout, and aging-related concerns. She specializes in helping clients heal from difficult experiences and reconnect with themselves through a trauma-informed approach.
Alicia integrates EMDR, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and developmental attachment work to help clients better understand the patterns, emotions, and experiences that may be keeping them stuck. She provides a warm, affirming, and supportive environment where clients can move at a pace that feels right for them while building greater self-understanding, resilience, and emotional well-being.
After spending 26 years in public health as an epidemiologist and administrator, Alicia returned to her longstanding passion for direct clinical work. Her own transformative experience with therapy inspires her commitment to helping others find healing, peace, and a renewed sense of self. Known for her calm, reassuring presence, Alicia creates a space where clients feel understood, supported, and empowered as they navigate life's challenges.
