Miguelángel C. Federico Hassán (Miguel Federico) is a compassionate and experienced licensed professional counselor (LPC) at Entune Behavioral Health, in Tucson. He holds a Master’s Degree in Psychology (M.Psy.) in clinical and counseling psychology from Southern Connecticut State University, did post-graduate study in counseling psychology at Albertus Magnus College, and is currently pursuing a Doctor of Psychology (Psy.D.) in clinical psychology at California Southern University.
Licensed in both Arizona and Connecticut, Miguel brings over 17 years of clinical experience across a range of settings, including a drug rehabilitation center, a psychiatric hospital, a child guidance clinic, and as a contractor for HHS, DOJ, and DoD at an ORR Facility, the BOP, and the Davis-Monthan AFB, here in Arizona, as well as 4 years in private practice, before working at Entune Behavioral Health.
Certified in the treatment of anxiety, trauma, and addiction (CCATP, CCTP-II, and Cert.A-CRA), and a credentialed practitioner of EFT through the Association for Comprehensive Energy Psychology (ACEP), Miguel specializes in PTSD, OCD, generalized anxiety disorder, panic disorder, social anxiety, depression, and co-occurring addictions or habits.
Miguel is an expert in Trauma with the CCTP-II credential and also having approximately 50 hours of trauma processing training in each of the following: Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT), Trauma-Focused CBT (TF-CBT), and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).
Miguel’s therapeutic approach blends evidence-based modalities—such as Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT), Trauma-focused Cognitive Behavior Therapy (TF-CBT), Mindfulness, and other evidence-based Energy Psychology therapies (EP). This integrative style allows him to tailor each session to the individual needs of his clients, fostering deep healing and long-term resilience.
Fluent in both English and Spanish, Miguel creates a welcoming, client-centered space for diverse populations to explore their experiences, develop coping strategies, and work toward emotional well-being.
