Imaan Ahmed, LPC
Imaan Ahmed has over four years of experience in the mental health field, with expertise in various settings, including private practices, partial hospitalization, and community-based organizations. She specializes in working with adults, adolescents, and children, with a focus on helping adolescents during their critical developmental years. As both an individual therapist and group facilitator, Imaan uses therapeutic approaches like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to meet the unique needs of each client.
Passionate about destigmatizing mental health, Imaan has also led community initiatives and frequently lectures on wellness topics. Her goal is to create a safe and supportive space where clients can explore their challenges, build resilience, and make meaningful progress in their mental health journeys.
Khalyia Patterson, LMSW
Khalyia (kah-lee-uh) is a licensed social worker in Arizona. She earned a Bachelor’s degree in Philosophy Pre-Law from Western Illinois University and a Master’s in Social Work from Arizona State University. She has extensive experience working with underserved and at-risk populations, adolescents, individuals involved with DCS, those navigating family law, and community crisis intervention. She has supported individuals diagnosed with anxiety, PTSD, mood disorders, depression, psychiatric disorders, substance use disorders, and personality disorders.
Khalyia is passionate about building a person-centered and strengths-based foundation to better assist individuals on their journey. Her goal as a therapist is to meet individuals where they are in their journey to better accompany them throughout their therapeutic process.
Laura Speta, LPC
Laura Speta is a dedicated mental health therapist committed to helping you achieve your treatment goals. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) based in Tucson. Laura holds a Master of Science in Counseling/Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Phoenix and is a National Certified Counselor (NCC). She is also a proud member of the American Counseling Association.
Laura has extensive experience in the behavioral health field, having worked with both non-profit and for-profit agencies. Her clinical expertise spans children, families, and individuals facing anxiety, stress, depression, complex trauma, sexual abuse, LGBTQIA2+ issues, ADD/ADHD, eating disorders, mood disorders, and general mental health concerns.
Laura has served clients from a wide range of unique, inclusive, and diverse backgrounds. She employs a versatile counseling approach with a strong preference for Cognitive Behavior Therapy and related modalities.
As an empathetic professional, Laura firmly believes in the potential for healing for everyone. Her mission is to enhance each client’s quality of life by gently encouraging greater awareness of their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. Her goal is to help clients find tranquility, emotional healing, and self-mastery.
