Bianca Aguilar, LPC
Bianca received her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Arizona and her Master’s in Forensic Mental Health Counseling from John Jay College of Criminal Justice in New York. She has worked as a group facilitator and individual counselor, both in the community and within the prison system. Bianca has supported patients in various areas of mental health including substance abuse, mood disorders, psychosis, grief and loss, and chronic pain. She has also worked with a lot of patients that have experienced trauma either as a child, adult, or both, and has had great success helping them heal.
Bianca takes pride in tailoring her treatment to focus on patient-specific needs, which may require the use of therapeutic modalities such as Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Psychodynamic Therapy, and Crisis Intervention. It is important for her to meet you where you are psychologically, emotionally, and mentally. With her diverse training and skills, Bianca can offer you a supportive, non-judgmental, and safe space for therapy that is conducive to healing and growth.
